And I found out of something I never knew happened in Gen I: if you deliver Oak’s Parcel, win the rival fight at the west of Viridian City, and go back to Oak without having caught a single Pokémon, he’ll give you 5 free Pokéballs

Reminds me a bit of the Tentacool gift pokemon in HGSS who hadnt been discovered until years later!

@Lugia oh yeah I read about that too! It wasn’t /as/ surprising to me because rushed through HGSS and haven’t played it since, whereas I know a lot about Gen I and have replayed it a lot
