Late to the party; "The Marvels" was an absolute delight. Could have used maybe 15 more mins to add to the gravitas of the 2 main emotional beats, but no major complaints. Sad how much hate it got. Oh & Iman Vellani needs to be in more TV/Movies. #MCU #Film #NoSpoilers
Is anyone else confused by the headlines for 'CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD' ?? I see some say it was a hit and some say it was not. Whether it was enjoyable or not is not up for debate because opinions are subjective.
What ISN'T subjective is whether or not it was profitable and the numbers don't lie. SPOILER: it was not.
Remember when Captain America: The Winter Soldier casually name-dropped Stephen Strange (Doctor Strange) in a throwaway line of dialogue? I literally punched the air when that happened! And I think I was the only one who got that reference at the time, at my screening. 
Captain America: The Winter Soldier sees Cap (Steve), his buddy Falcon (Sam) and a Black Widow (Natasha) working against the US government.
Captain America: Brave New World also sees Cap (Sam), his buddy Falcon (Joaquin) and a Black Widow (Ruth) working against the US government.

I'm tired of constant retreads that genuinely look like absolute washed out Tubi Original-level garbage for 20 times the price, so no I have zero plans to see the new Captain America nor The Thunderbolts which just seems like a depressing retread of every character nobody cared about from recent films and series but the Winter Soldier is there!
I want to get back to watching actual films who have like, cinematography and shit.
Honestly, my big complaint was that this was the second time the MCU took something I loved from Hulk comics and put it in someone else’s movie. Last time was Planet Hulk, of course. This time I don’t mean Red Hulk—I read a few of his comics, they were terrible. I mean
“Mr. Blue.”
Okay, so I saw 'CAPTAIN AMERICA: BNW' tonight and I will say I enjoyed it as a theater experience. It was a spectacle and the cast did a great job.
That said... it was kind of all over the place, seemingly trying to fill all the holes in the dam that is the MCU. It felt like the script was revised way too many times and there was a LOT of poorly-written exposition.
It was GOOD... it wasn't GREAT.

Just as excited about this film as I am about Captain America: Brave New World. Didn't even realise a trailer was slated to drop because of the Super Bowl. 
Seeing Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, penning complex equations on a chalkboard, reminds me of actual physicists from the 20th Century. Those who developed Quantum Mechanics and added to our overall understanding of how the universe works. Loving the vibes of the new Fantastic Four film so far!
