Mario Guzmán<p>OMG I FOUND THE MOST HILARIOUS BUG IN MACOS AND PODCASTS APP... </p><p>1. First, I should NEVER be able to make a window this narrow in macOS app. You need a min width/height set for your app. How was this overlooked? Mac is 3rd class citizen at Apple it seems.</p><p>2. If you get it at this narrow width, you can no longer get it back to normal size. It's suck.</p><p>3. Quit and relaunch you say? Nope, app crashes upon relaunching now every time. See 2nd toot for this.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/macOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>macOS</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/macOSSequoia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>macOSSequoia</span></a></p>
Mario Guzmán<p>This is on my new MacBook Pro with M4 Pro running the latest public macOS Sequoia 15.2.</p><p>Every time I click the Next button to go to the next track, the whole Home view flickers in Music.app.</p><p>It also randomly flickers but for sure it flickers every time I click the Next button.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/macOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>macOS</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/macOSSequoia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>macOSSequoia</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/AppleMusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AppleMusic</span></a></p>

In most cases, pressing Control-Return will reveal a context menu for the selected item, with no need to interact first. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TipTuesday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TipTuesday</span></a></p>

I was attempting to reinstall the operating system, due to a failed update and now my device is failing to activate. The really strange part is that I just checked Apple‘s system status page and everything shows as fully operational.</p>
steve mookie kong<p>macOS Sequoia's Firewall is all messed up. If you're having issues with Safari, Firefox or Terminal accessing the internet, it's because the Firewall is flipping out and blocking them. I went and changed the access and after a while it goes back to blocking. Very annoying. For now, since I'm using my MBP at home, I have the firewall turned off.</p><p><a href="https://mookiesplace.com/tags/apple" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>apple</span></a> <a href="https://mookiesplace.com/tags/macos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>macOS</span></a> <a href="https://mookiesplace.com/tags/macossequoia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>macOSsequoia</span></a></p>
