Marco Pavanello / Wolf Studio make really cool CGI videos and animations with Blender. You can follow at:
There are already 23 videos uploaded, you can browse them all at https://makertube.net/a/marco/videos. You might particularly want to check out the short films "The Spark" (https://makertube.net/w/qPzyWiJPBhej8WfgYFPz2j) and "Pebble" (https://makertube.net/w/tihdkkgvmKHsxkr9QgJHYe).
You can also follow Pavanello's general social media account at @nacioss
It's the Ides of March. That's a perfect time for the launch of my new game assets, the Roman Pompeii Collection: Glassware
Each asset was accurately modeled after a specific artifact discovered at Pompeii, and the pack includes an info sheet with more details about the artifacts and eruption-era Roman glass-making.
For the Ides of March, only $3.15 !

1: Idee
I love how easy it is to make details out of geometry with #Blender.
Which is great when you don't know how to make textures... or normal maps. You know, like me.
I mean I gotta ignore that polycount real hard.
But lotsa triangles just means I'm not LOD-ing hard enough.
Episode 11 of my #Blender3D series introduces animations, actions, shape keys and keyframing in Blender 4.3. On top you'll learn how to render both images and videos in #blender

I've made a simple spaceship hull out of primitives, cut it in half and applied remesh modifiers:
1. Remesh Blocks
2. Remesh Sharp
By tweaking their parameters you can get quite a variety of shapes.
The raffle model is finished, so i just HAD to use it for a small animation!
Turntable and high-res closeup renders coming tomorrow
Character belongs to
Dragoninquisitor over on Bsky
Hmmm... choices, choices...
Ryzen 5 : 5500 or 8500G ?
nVidia RTX: 3050 4gb or 3060 12gb
I can't afford both.
I'll want 32gb RAM (2x16)
I'm leaning towards the 3060 (12gb) and lower cpu.
It's all a LOT better than what I'm currently working with.
Any advices?
Last few days experimented with integrating dialogue.nathanhoad.net into my 3D scene experiment. I love this library! Sooo simple and the file format is very intuitive. I used custom properties from Blender to set objects as "interactable" and which dialogue to show. 1/
