Mayana<p>OK fine, here's the fanfic I've been reading. It does me no good to be all weird about enjoying it, now does it?<br><a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/Senbazuru" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Senbazuru</span></a> is a <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/fanfic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fanfic</span></a> of the <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/AssassinationClassroom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AssassinationClassroom</span></a> Manga/#anime. I'll be honest with you: I neither read nor watched that. I stumbled upon this through some tag searching, and I am of the firm opinion that a well-written <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/fanfiction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fanfiction</span></a> should stand on its own. This one does so by largely being quite loyal to canon (at least from what I've been able to gleam from TVTropes). The added character does make a difference, but it never feels like they're stealing the spotlight or are out of place.<br>That character, to be specific, is you. Well, Reader. It's a reader insert fic, and a quite well done one; Reader is just name-like enough to work without feeling odd, and the author's done a great job of keeping them entirely <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/GenderNeutral" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GenderNeutral</span></a>.<br>The main point is a romance between Reader and <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/Korosensei" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Korosensei</span></a>, a fellow with mysterious origins and many <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/tentacles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tentacles</span></a> that will blow up the Earth within a year, unless someone can assassinate him in time. Believe it or not, it's the wholesomest, fluffiest, quirkiest <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/romance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>romance</span></a> ever. Have squeezable plushies at the ready -- but tissues, too! And prepare to be delightfully frustrated, because this is one hell of a slow burn.<br>Yes, this is an explicit fic, with <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/NSFW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NSFW</span></a> chapters. But since it's a slow burn, don't expect them all that soon. All the <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/lewd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>lewd</span></a> chapters are entirely optional; the author has made sure not to put any especially important stuff there, for the sake of younger or asexual readers. If you do decide to read them, <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/EnthusiasticConsent" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EnthusiasticConsent</span></a> is given for all sex scenes. It's all <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/consentacles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>consentacles</span></a>, if you will.<br><a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/FanFicRec" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FanFicRec</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/FanFictionRec" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FanFictionRec</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/fluff" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fluff</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/erotica" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>erotica</span></a></p>
