Hyphlosion<p>I got both a silicone sleeve and a protective case designed for me the <a href="https://donphan.social/tags/PokemonGoPlusPlus" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>PokemonGoPlusPlus</span></a>. The exciting part about the case is that I won’t be pressing the button in my sleep anymore! Hooray!</p>
Hyphlosion<p>So I found out yesterday with the Pokémon GO Plus +, Pikachu warns you if there’s a Pokémon nearby that hasn’t been registered on your Pokédex yet! </p><p>I was out walking and Pikachu makes more of a concerned sound. The device makes a different type of vibration and won’t catch it automatically. </p><p>I pull out my phone to take a look, and sure enough, there’s an unregistered Basculin smiling at me!</p><p>This is awesome! I like how I’m warned and that unregistered <a href="https://donphan.social/tags/Pokemon" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Pokemon</span></a> aren’t automatically caught. Hyphlosion<p>Well that’s a bummer. If you accidentally press the Pokémon GO Plus+ in the middle of the night and record the data, you can’t override it manually your actual time slept. Hyphlosion<p>Pokémon Sleep gave me an error this morning when I tried syncing the Pokémon GO Plus +, saying there was an error with the sleep data and it will now be deleted. K.</p><p>And now, syncing the device with Pokémon GO, it doesn’t upload the sleeping data either.</p><p>What is going on? What did I do wrong? Pikachu did its lullaby last night. I don’t get it. Am I not supposed to wake it up early? Do I not press it when I wake up? </p><p>What do you do in the morning to ensure the sleep data goes through? Hyphlosion<p>I found out what the problem was. If the Pokémon GO Plus + is set to auto-connect on Pokémon GO, the device will not go into Sleep Mode and will instead flash red once. Once I turned that off and then disconnected the device, it would flash blue and Pikachu starts singing. Manual didn’t mention this. I’ve ironically LOST sleep trying to figure this out. Got Pikachu to sing to me earlier today so I don’t know what’s up. </p><p>I’m assuming battery needs to be charged since I was using it for auto catching out of the box all day today.</p><p>Edit: Nope, that’s not the reason. I woke up, noted it’s now fully charged, unplugged it, then pressed and held the main button. It still flashed red once instead of flashing blue.
