David de Groot 📸<p>While heading to the office from the carpark this morning, I wandered along the path over Conifer Knoll. There were a lot of Little Corellas feeding, and in a patch of sun, this Bush Stone-Curlew chick. </p><p>Standing about 5 inches tall, at a distance it just looked like a miniature adult bird. Geoff<p>An encounter with a Red-bellied Black Snake</p><p>Normally these danger-noodles take off and I get an unsatisfactory shot of a departing tail</p><p>This one went past me while I was shooting birds in the undergrowth, and circled back.
