MDMRNNew Read - Otaku Elf, Volume 7<br> <br> Otaku Elf is so silly and so much fun. Hands down.<br> <br> For those unfamiliar, Otaku Elf follows Elda, an immortal elf from another dimension, who serves as the god of a local shrine; and her Miko, Koganei Koito. Koito is a high school teenager and is now dealing with the fact that Elda, is a huge Gunpla, video games, manga, anime, etc nerd and really doesn't like leaving the shrine. She spends some of the shrine's money on her habits to comical effect.<br> <br> This volume covers the discovery of an old puzzle box and Elda losing it about it; Elda spending money she should not have on a human-sized Gundam model, and a story about Koito and her sister doing an art project. <br> <br> Overall, it's a cute volume with silly little stories. If you are looking for something with a lot of emotional depth, this isn't it. If you are looking or light fluff comedy pallet cleanser after reading something heavy - consider Otaku Elf.
