He was martyred in a cowardly assassination carried out by the treacherous and terrorist zionist aircraft today, Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

The martyr leader “Abu Hamza” left his mark in the field of military media resistance work, and his presence instilled fear and terror in the crumbling occupation entity. He was a model of the resistant fighter, not the compromising one, always at the front lines of confrontation. Despite the immense pain of losing “Abu Hamza,” who never submitted, we confirm that this loss will only increase our determination and steadfastness to continue on the path of the martyrs in the struggle and fight until the last drop of blood for full and complete liberation, the expulsion of the occupation from all of our Palestinian land, the restoration of our people’s stolen rights, the recovery of the occupied Arab lands, and the avenging of the blood of our martyrs and leaders.

Therefore, we, in the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, extend our condolences to the family of the martyr leader Naji Abu Seif “Abu Hamza,” the military spokesperson of the Saraya Al-Quds, and to his relatives for his martyrdom and the martyrdom of several members of his family in this treacherous targeting.

We also extend our condolences to our people, the Arab nation, and all the free people of the world, in general, and to our comrades and brothers in blood, struggle, and unity of fate in the Islamic Jihad Movement and its military wing, the Saraya Al-Quds, including the leadership, cadres, and fighters. We salute the spirit of the leader “Abu Hamza” and the spirits of those who illuminated the path of freedom and independence with their blood, on the path of honor, the path of Al-Quds and Palestine. We salute all those still holding the trigger, pressing on until freedom is achieved and the occupation is driven out.

Our pledge is an eternal revenge that will never fade.
Glory to the martyrs, freedom to the prisoners, and recovery to the wounded.
The fog will soon lift from the hills… and indeed, we will certainly be victorious.

Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa BrigadesThe Military Wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine
March 19, 2025

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=17677

#abuHamza #alAqsaFlood #gaza #islamicJihad #palestine #pflp #pij

Below we publish a few statements:

—
Hezbollah:
—
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Statement Issued by Hezbollah on the American-British Aggression Against Yemen

Hezbollah condemns the blatant American-British aggression against dear Yemen, which targeted residential neighborhoods in the capital, Sanaa, and several provinces, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of innocent civilians. This aggression is a desperate attempt to deter the steadfast Yemeni people from continuing their heroic support for the Palestinian people and their ongoing pressure to lift the unjust siege on Gaza and allow the entry of humanitarian aid and relief.

The targeting of civilians and vital facilities in Yemen once again reveals the true and ugly face of the American administration, which practices terrorism and bullying against nations that oppose its hegemonic policies in the region and the world. This barbaric attack constitutes a war crime and a blatant violation of international laws and norms. It aligns with the “israeli” aggression—backed by the United States—against Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and the region.

The steadfast Yemeni people, who have sacrificed their martyrs’ blood in epic battles to support the Palestinian cause and stand with besieged Gaza, will not retreat in the face of this cowardly aggression. With their wise and courageous leadership, they will continue their honorable role in defending the causes of the nation. This aggression will only strengthen their determination and steadfastness despite the ongoing oppressive siege.

We in Hezbollah reaffirm our full solidarity with dear and brave Yemen, its leadership, and its people. We call on all free nations of the world and all resistance forces in our region and beyond to unite and stand together against the American-zionist project that targets the countries and peoples of our nation. We affirm that the blood of these martyrs will remain a beacon of resilience and resistance, and it will not be in vain; rather, it will strengthen Yemen’s determination to confront aggression.

This barbaric aggression will not succeed in breaking the will of the free Yemeni people, who have never hesitated to support Palestine and have embraced the cause of Gaza despite the siege and aggression they themselves face.

He who stands with Yemen stands with Palestine and with the Arab right in confronting colonial and hegemonic projects, while he who abandons Yemen today is abandoning Palestine and all the causes of the nation.

We affirm that Yemen, which has been on the frontlines defending Arab dignity, will neither be defeated nor raise the white flag. Later, the Zionist military said the ICRC received captive Hisham al-Sayed in Gaza City.

In exchange for the release of the Zionist captives, the Zionist authorities will release 50 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences, 60 prisoners serving long-term sentences, and 47 prisoners who were freed as part of the “Wafa al-Ahrar” exchange deal but were re-arrested by the occupation forces.

Additionally, 445 detainees from the Gaza Strip, who were abducted after October 7, 2023, will also be released today, according to the Prisoners’ Information Office.

Our correspondent said that in Ofer prison, Palestinian prisoners and detainees who are to be released are being gathered, most of whom will be transferred to the Gaza Strip.

She added that Zionist military reinforcements have been deployed inside and outside the prison.

Last night, the occupation forces raided the homes of a number of detainees in the West Bank who are to be released today.

Hamas handed over body of Zionist captive Shiri Bibas after mix-up

In a related context, Zionist media reported Saturday that Hamas handed over the body of detainee Shiri Bibas, after mistakenly delivering an unidentified body due to confusion between the corpses.

Kibbutz Nir Oz, where Bibas was captured on October 7, 2023, confirmed Saturday her death following an identification process at the forensic institute.

The ICRC had announced receiving the remains from Hamas and transferring them to Zionist authorities, according to the ‘Israeli’ Broadcasting Corporation (KAN).

The remains were transferred to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute where they were examined, KAN said.

The Zionist news site Walla reported that “‘Israeli’ assessments suggest that Hamas did not intentionally withhold Bibas’ body, but mistakenly delivered another body.”

The Zionist military said on Friday that one of the bodies received during the Thursday exchange did not belong to detainee Shiri Bibas.

Later, Hamas confirmed that it had received the occupation’s claims through mediators, adding that it will examine these claims thoroughly and will announce the results clearly.

The Palestinian group noted the possibility of an “error” or “confusion” between the bodies, which may have resulted from the occupation military’s targeting and bombing of the location where the Bibas family was with other Palestinians.

Hamas says guarantee for completing upcoming exchanges is regime’s commitment

Additionally, Hamas stated Saturday that the Palestinian Resistance’s accomplishment of exchanging six captives today reaffirms its commitment to the agreement, while the occupation continues to delay its implementation.

The group highlighted that “the handover, in this national scene, reflects the unity of our people and factions, while the occupation is experiencing fragmentation and mutual accusations.”

It also emphasized its readiness to move to the second phase of the agreement and its preparedness to complete the comprehensive exchange process, ensuring a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from Gaza, warning against any Zionist attempts to renege on the agreement.

On his part, Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif al-Qanoua stressed that the Resistance will continue to complete the exchange operations and compel the occupation to implement the remaining terms of the agreement, clarifying that the guarantee for completing the upcoming exchange operations is the regime’s commitment to the remaining provisions of the agreement and the implementation of the humanitarian protocol.

He mentioned that 33 days have passed in the first phase without the occupation completing all its terms, pointing out that the situation in Gaza is “catastrophic”, which requires mediators to pressure the regime to implement the humanitarian protocol and provide residents with the necessary supplies for shelter and relief.

Al-Qanoua reiterated that Hamas is ready to complete a broad and comprehensive exchange process, all in one batch, based on a permanent cessation of the war, the withdrawal of the occupation forces from Gaza, and the reconstruction of the Palestinian enclave.

Meanwhile, Hazem Qassem, another Hamas spokesperson, stressed that the reconstruction of Gaza must be carried out through national consensus, affirming that the Resistance will not allow any external force to interfere in this matter.

<span Martyred on this day in 2008 by a car bomb in Damascus following several attempted assassinations by the CIA and Mossad. Today, we remember the martyr Hajj Imad for all that he sacrificed for the sake of liberation and resistance.

It is impossible to describe in a few sentences all that Hajj Imad offered to the regional resistance. This leader, who worked all his life in silence and away from the spotlights to serve Palestine, the mother of all causes.

Described as the “untraceable ghost,” Hajj Radwan would sneak in and out of Gaza from Lebanon without detection, confusing the enemy entity. Being Hezbollah’s second in command, he worked hand-in-hand with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, providing them with military strategy, training, weaponry, and information during the Intifadas.

The extensive tunnel network under Gaza that now terrifies the occupation was his and Hajj Qassem Soleimani’s idea, as described by Hamas official Ahmed Abdulhadi.

Former PIJ head Ramadan Shallah recalled, “I don’t remember a time when Hajj Imad refused a request for the resistance. If you told him his coat was nice, he would take it off and give it to you. He was a natural leader, able to manage 100 tasks without failing any. Imad Mughniyeh restored the Palestinian cause as an Arab and Islamic cause. His fingerprints are on every missile and bullet in Palestine.”

From Hezbollah’s inception, Hajj Imad commanded some of the most notable resistance operations against occupation and colonialism, including the Beirut barracks bombings, killing 300 US and French soldiers.

Hajj Imad had a deep relationship with Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Both of their sons, Jihad and Hadi, were martyred.

Upon the martyrdom of his son Jihad years later, in an IOF airstrike in Qunaitira, commander-in-chief of the Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, Mohammed Deif, sent a letter to Sayyed Nasrallah, offering his condolences.

For our leaders, the goal has always been clear, specific, and precise. The Unity of the Fields has always been present, years before that battle took place. Today, despite all the pain, we witness the fruits of years of hard resistance, resolve, and hard work, that rose on the 7th of October, never to set again.

Hajj Imad’s philosophy, that “what fights within us is the soul,” encapsulates the essence of our resistance. Our enemies may own weapons. They may own the world’s support and International Court’s verdicts. What they will never own, unlike our people, the children of the land, is their fighting spirits, the unwavering will, to take on a tank bare-handed.

Hajj Qassem Soleimani said: “The punishment for the blood of Imad will not be firing rockets. The punishment for the blood of Imad will not be killing a single person. The punishment for the blood of Imad, and those like Imad who were martyred in Palestine and Lebanon, and those martyred in Iran and the other regions during the zionist entity’s conspiracy, will be the uprooting and removal of this zionist entity murderer of children.”

Glory to our leaders, who have set the example of martyrdom.
Glory to our steadfast people and their unwavering will to fight for the homeland.
Glory to the martyrs.

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=16886

#gaza #palestine #pij #resistance #westBak

abolitionmedia
How West Bank Aggression Could Endanger Gaza Ceasefire

[🖼 abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/fil…]

Zionist attacks on Palestine’s West Bank continue to take on a new intensity. In the wake of the Gaza ceasefire, occupation forces and settlers have worked in tandem to attack innocent Palestinians, opening fire and injuring scores of individuals. The spike in violence should send a powerful message to all those who believe that the occupation can be trusted on the Gaza ceasefire: it has simply shifted the center of its brutal aggression to the West Bank. “[Her] mother was feeding her [when] she got a bullet from the sniper in her head,” said the grandmother of Laila al-Khatib, the two-year-old Palestinian girl shot and killed by occupation forces over the weekend. This violence cannot be seen in isolation and has the potential to disrupt the Gaza ceasefire.

Take the Zionist forces’ violent raid at Al-Aqsa Mosque in 2023 into account. The deadly event became a catalyst for spillovers elsewhere, promoting escalations and increasing the scope of confrontations manifold. At present, the Zionist regime is testing the Resistance’s ability to respond to its deadly onslaught in the occupied West Bank and is creating conditions that could prompt more fitting reactions. Realities on the ground speak for themselves: hundreds of Palestinians in the Jenin refugee camp were forced to leave their homes and the casualty count in the occupied West Bank has reached double-digits. By pushing to expand “large scale” occupation raids, the Zionist entity shows few signs of bringing its terror campaign to a halt. Continuation could put the Gaza ceasefire on thin ice, where both sides are expected to operate in good faith. These expanding raids also put a premium on stamping out groups that are committed to protecting Palestine’s freedoms. If violence in the occupied West Bank spirals out of control in the future, an already-fragile Gaza ceasefire may not hold firm.

The value of the ceasefire is impossible to ignore. Legions of Palestinians are finally returning to their homes in northern Gaza, having borne the brunt of a raging genocide that confined their home soil to rubble. The ceasefire also reaffirms the Resistance’s commitment to its people, as well as their freedoms and liberties as it prioritizes their interests in the captive exchange.
But the regime appears hellbent on introducing new risks to that arrangement. It has been using sophisticated weaponry and deadly warfare techniques to attack the Jenin refugee camp and proudly claims that “lessons” from the Gaza genocide are being applied to the occupied West Bank. Why should Resistance groups hold back? It is Palestinian blood that is being targeted from Gaza to the occupied West Bank, and the regime feels it can normalize repeated massacres and avoid any consequences. There are also reports that the occupation is tightening the screws around the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), calling it to “vacate all premises in occupied East Jerusalem and cease its operations in them by 30 January 2025.”
This move should be seen as part of a broader effort to strangle critical assistance to Palestinians in both Gaza and the occupied West Bank. After all, UNRWA wields a central role in humanitarian assistance across these territories. The timing of a potential UNRWA ban thus coincides with the Zionist regime’s raging West Bank warfare, suggesting a conscious strategy to further entrench the occupation – while projecting itself as committed to the Gaza truce. All this offers a solid reason for Resistance groups – across the aisle – to be on the alert for the regime’s future transgressions and understand the notorious logic behind its criminal campaigning. “As the long-awaited ceasefire in Gaza took place, the Zionist regime’s death machinery escalated its firing in the West Bank, killing 10 people in Jenin today”, said UN Rapporteur on Human Rights in Palestine, Francesca Albanese, in a recent post on X. “If it is not forced to stop, ‘Israels’ genocide of Palestinians will not be confined to Gaza. Mark my words.”

There are clues that the regime won’t stop at anything. In the words of war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, occupation massacres in Palestine’s West Bank are tied to a so-called ‘battle’ with Resistance groups across Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen. This rhetoric is similar to the falsehoods touted by the genocidal regime to justify its mass extermination campaign in Gaza, upending lives, displacing legions of residents, and pushing the aggregate death toll beyond 47,300. However, the genocide didn’t prevent groups allied with the Palestinian cause from responding to occupation terrorism. Little suggests this would change if the Zionist entities pushed West Bank terrorism to an unprecedented extreme.

And so, backers of the Gaza ceasefire have been warned, once again, that the greatest obstacle to a pause in hostilities is none other than the occupation. A genocidal regime pardoned by many in the West feels empowered to escalate its terror campaign, rather than cease it in the interests of relative calm.

But as Palestinian Resistance groups have shown thus far, brutal injustices will be met with a proportional response.

source: Al Mayadeen

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=14129

#alAqsaFlood #guerrilla #hamas #palestine #pflp #pij #resistance #westAsia #westBank

abolitionmedia
Gaza Ceasefire: An Appraisal of the Situation

[🖼 abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/fil…]

A week has elapsed since the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas went into effect. As Palestinians return to their devastated communities, we must analyze the moment and the implications for the future of Palestinians and the Palestine solidarity movement.

“When the prison doors are opened, the real dragon will fly out.” – George Jackson

Many welcomed the news of a ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian resistance—led by Hamas—and the Zionist colony. While many have correctly pointed out that this ceasefire plan was already on the table in late 2023, there is a need for a deeper analysis of the unfolding situation. This article will dive into three important points regarding the ceasefire. First, the question of to what degree this is a victory for the Palestinian resistance and thus a loss for the Zionists. Secondly, the crisis of imperialism, and thirdly, what this means moving forward for pro-Palestine organizing in the rest of the world, particularly the United States.

On the first point, whether or not this ceasefire—if implemented fully—is a victory for the Palestinian resistance, the answer is affirmative. Over 1000 Palestinian prisoners will be released, including some 250 who were on death row for their participation in armed resistance. Leaders of the resistance such as Ziyad Al Nakhala and Yayha Sinwar were released during prisoner exchanges and went on to build the resistance into the formidable force we know today. According to Electronic Intifada, none of the Palestinians released have signed any documents saying they will refrain from their national and patriotic duties, which only means that the ranks of the resistance will swell more. To emphasize the scale of this prisoner exchange, 33 “Israelis” are being exchanged for over 1000 Palestinians. The scale of this was mentioned by the martyr, Saleh Al Arouri, when he commended the Zionists for valuing their people so much as to do anything to get them back. Arouri continued, arguing that he wished it wasn’t so, because then surely it would spell the end of the Zionist garrison state. The complete withdrawal of “Israeli” forces from the Gaza Strip as well as mandated hours where there can be no overflight surveillance by the Zionists are strong evidence that Hamas was negotiating from a more confident position. Kita’ib Al Qassam spokesman, Abu Obeida, said it best in October 2023: “We promise Netanyahu, his military staff, and his army leadership that they will get down on their knees at the end of this battle”. This ceasefire potentially opens the door for this reality.

Another accomplishment of this ceasefire and touches on the fundamental moral issue: it can alleviate the suffering of the people of Gaza for even a brief period. On the “Israeli” side, Operation Toufan Al Aqsa and the ceasefire agreement have exposed the fragility of the colonial entity. “They are weaker than a spider’s web,” in the words of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The Zionist economy is in tatters, the contradictions in the ruling class and “Israeli” society writ large are becoming antagonistic to the point of chaos, hundreds of thousands of settlers have fled back to Europe, and they have been unable to break the blockade by the Yemenis. Ben Gvir has left the government and Smotrich is threatening to plan a coup d’etat against the Netanyahu clique. All of this points to an “Israel” in crisis. Yet, we mustn’t discount the fact that they are now occupying large swathes of Syrian land and that they have weakened Hezbollah. All of this makes for a very volatile situation in the region.

So what of the crisis of imperialism? In general terms, the US ruling elite and their subservient British and French allies have been unable to defeat the Yemenis and their steadfast support for Palestine. Their grip on the region is weakening. While the US regime’s favorite takfiri jackal is in power in Syria, the costs of keeping the Syrian comprador regime afloat will prove to be a quagmire for the imperialists. This is much like keeping the Ukrainian Nazi regime afloat, which has been nothing but a money pit. The incoming Trump regime is going to have its hands full when it comes to attempted negotiations in Ukraine and keeping a lid on Palestine. While the rabid settler movement has an ally in Trump, the Gaza resistance—as well as the West Bank resistance—has proven that defeating them in battle is no easy task. Trump’s antagonistic relationship with Mexico could potentially strain relations with Latin America, which has a large base of support for Palestine.

What can we do as Palestinians in exile? What can we do as a U.S. working class that is pushing against the power of Zionists in our own government? We must take advantage of the news cycle and use the ceasefire as a launching pad to the next demand: a full arms embargo against “Israel.” Seven of the largest trade unions in this country have already called for this; we must add more unions to this roster. We must unite the progressive forces in the working class movement to ensure that anti-imperialist forces are at the forefront of our efforts.

A total arms embargo is the next most achievable step for a few reasons. Firstly, the crisis of “Israeli” society has translated into a questioning of Zionism and US foreign policy inside of the US and from forces of the left and right. People are concerned about all the money the government throws at “Israel” in order for them to turn around and use it against children. Even if there are right wingers who only question the US-“Israeli” relationship on economic terms, we must use that to our advantage and push for the embargo. Secondly, the Palestine movement still has momentum all across the world, and has achieved victories in Europe. In France, long-time political prisoner and Arab patriot, Georges Ibrahim Abdallah was released from prison. Spain also refused to ship weapons bound for the colony. Some countries are also prosecuting Zionist soldiers on holiday in their respective countries. Keeping up the pressure on the Zionist regime through pressure on the imperialist governments is a duty for all forces of freedom and liberation worldwide.

For 471 days, the Zionists committed the most base and heinous atrocities, yet none of these atrocities achieved any of their strategic objectives. Similarly, for 471 days the resistance in Gaza showed how 21st century guerilla warfare is fought. This is the martyr Basel Al Araj’s flea war par excellence. In his speech regarding the ceasefire and the achievements of the resistance, Abu Obeida correctly asserted that military colleges will be studying this war for a long time. How could they not?

In conclusion, we should be cautiously optimistic about this ceasefire. The world knows that Netanyahu needs war to keep himself in power, and so violations of the ceasefire are a distinct possibility for which we should remain vigilant. We must also stay vigilant regarding the fierce battles happening in Jenin . For a moment, the people of Gaza have a reprieve. Their steadfastness and courage shine as a bright star on the path to liberation from colonialism.

Hanna Eid is a Palestinian American writer, researcher, and Union electrical worker. abolitionmedia
Zionists are Shocked That They Didn’t Beat Hamas, Here’s Why They Failed

[🖼 abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/fil…]

Contrary to what has been presented to the Western public, the Zionist military did not fight a war that targeted Hamas, instead they pursued their genocides and employed cowardly tactics that aimed to minimize their soldier casualties.

Ever wondered why the Zionists never had any real combat footage that featured their soldiers engaged in battles with Palestinian fighters? One explanation could be that no battles were actually fought in the Gaza Strip, yet that is contradicted by the near daily stream of clips, produced by some dozen Resistance groups, that featured attacks against the invading army.

Through analyzing the videos released by the Palestinian armed groups like al-Quds Brigades, al-Qassam Brigades, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the Mujahideen Brigades, the Salah al-Din Brigades, and others, we can deduce that there were three main categories of attacks: Ambushes, Sniper Operations, and mortar/artillery strikes.

According to both the communiques and video documentation published by the groups in Gaza, the most frequent style of attacks was mortar/artillery operations; that would occur daily. Over 10,000 rockets were also used, but as the war progressed, most of the rockets fired were short-range munitions. Although this style of attacks used largely inaccurate weapons, it was indeed constant over the course of 15 months.

Then we have the steady stream of videos throughout the war, which featured ambushes, which could also be separated into two primary subcategories: Ambushes of convoys and ambushes on stationary Zionist army positions.

The first kind, against convoys, included the use of the now famous Yassin-105 Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) against tanks, bulldozers, jeeps, and Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs). Guided Anti-Tank systems and drones were occasionally used against military vehicles too, but appeared to be in much lower supply.

The spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, announced in his ceasefire speech that over 2,000 tanks were damaged or destroyed by the group’s fighters. Despite the Zionists not having admitted to the number of tanks, bulldozers, jeeps, and APCs that were damaged/destroyed, reports published in occupation media suggested that tanks were in short supply. In fact, several requests were made by senior military officials to deploy tanks into the West Bank after their assessments concluded the Resistance groups there had acquired heavy explosives, but were rejected due to the need to use those tanks in Gaza or Lebanon.

Another tactic that ended up proving more effective at neutralizing tanks later on in the war were Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) strategically planted in roads where military convoys would pass through. Groups like Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)’s al-Quds Brigades and Hamas’s al-Qassam Brigades even repurposed many of the unexploded ordnances, including the infamous 2,000-pound bombs, to use against Israeli military convoys.

Then we had the attacks on Zionist forces who were either entering areas to set up positions or who were already utilizing a space as a temporary military base or command node. These ambushes used IEDs that were pre-planted in an area, but also incorporated other kinds of weapons. For instance, sniper attacks were used throughout the war, and there are many such attacks filmed, some showing headshots and armor piercing rounds hitting two soldiers in a single shot.

The variations of the RPG warheads used were also different, when in sufficient supply, for these kinds of assaults that would often target gatherings of soldiers or those holed up inside buildings. A thermobaric RPG round was frequently featured in the published videos of such ambush operations. Something we also saw was the use of automatic and semi-automatic guns in such confrontations. There were also some knife attacks and occasional use of feda’i bombers.

The Israeli military has admitted to suffering an average of 1,000 soldier injuries per month during the course of the war, yet this even appears to contradict earlier announcements on the total number of injuries their forces sustained. These numbers have changed throughout the course of the conflict and do not appear to be reliable, especially due to Tel Aviv’s military censor surrounding such issues. Regardless, judging by the Israeli total soldier death toll, set around 800, the injury to death rate is separated by an enormous gap.

So far, the Palestinian armed groups have not provided their own estimates as to how many soldier casualties they inflicted. Therefore, attempting to come up with numbers is rather difficult, but if we are to work with the statistic of 1,000 injuries each month in Gaza, this would equate to 33 soldiers injured every day. Provided that most of the time the occupying military was only launching full invasions in a couple of areas at once, this indicates frequent resistance.

However, with the exception of a handful of examples where the Palestinian Resistance fighters chose to try and hold certain areas, or delay a Zionist entry to a specific neighborhood – like what occurred during the second major invasion of the Jabalia refugee camp in May of 2024 – the opposition to the invading army was almost entirely surprise attacks and artillery strikes.

The Palestinian fighting made sense for a number of reasons. To begin with, it was obvious that even in the event that the Zionist military had sought to fight the Palestinian groups directly and engage in fierce battles with them, the ability to hold off the invading army that is backed by the world’s top military superpower was always a terrible choice. Therefore, the idea of being able to work in a similar manner to Hezbollah, holding back the advances of the army, would have been a suicidal strategy.

Even if the Palestinian Resistance would have proven temporarily successful, the massive loss of fighters would have been a disaster. This leads us to the next reason that explains their actions, that being the lack of any supply lines into Gaza. The Palestinian groups were forced to use weapons that were primarily manufactured inside the Gaza Strip, and thus had to preserve the ammunition they had carefully, which they managed to do. Their strength was in their use of a complex web of tunnels that the Israelis were simply not interested in bothering to enter on foot in most cases.

Tel Aviv and Washington still have no clue how extensive the tunnel system is under Gaza and only provide guess estimates. Other than in a few rare circumstances, the Zionists never bothered entering the tunnels and when they did, they would either use Palestinian hostages to go in ahead of them or attack dogs. The vast majority of uncovered tunnels were already abandoned, were bombed first, and rendered useless anyway, or the entrances were simply sealed with explosive charges. Attempts to flood the tunnels with seawater and gas both failed.

Not only do the Zonists themselves admit that most of the tunnels weren’t destroyed, but even in areas where the invading army had been stationed for over a year and destroyed every structure in sight, were sites from which long-range rockets were fired. In December, the Qassam Brigades even fired M75 rockets at Zionist settlements in occupied al-Quds from Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza. Tellingly, the first Zionist prisoners were also released by the Qassam Brigades’ elite Shadow Unit out of northern Gaza, which surprised the Palestinians and Israelis alike.

The real reason why the Zionists didn’t defeat the Palestinian Resistance factions, is because they weren’t really there to fight them. The primary target of each of their invasions, throughout the Gaza Strip, was always civilian infrastructure. Each invasion would culminate with the takeover of a hospital like Al-Shifa, Kamal Adwan, or the Nasser Medical Complex for example. They rounded up civilians who were either held hostage in their homes prior, or were displaced and living in UN schools, hospitals or stadiums.

Israeli airstrikes were totally indiscriminate, and while there were some more targeted operations, they were anomalies. Simply looking at drone or satellite footage of the Gaza Strip proves this beyond any reasonable doubt. The vast majority of their soldiers deployed into Gaza never saw a Palestinian fighter, even when fired upon, they were simply there to vandalize and destroy buildings, while shooting indiscriminately at whoever they chose. They behaved lawlessly like a horde of 13th century Mongolian raiders, minus having to actually fight battles against a modern army.

It was clear from the language employed by every Zionist, from its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, right down to its soldiers who filmed TikTok videos of themselves detonating buildings and wearing women’s underwear, they were committing a genocide against those they called “Amalekites”. Their true purpose was not to pursue a military victory over Hamas, which we can prove through the absence of any clear plans at any stage of the war, it was just uncontrolled slaughter and destruction. They sought to pulverize and terrorize, with the propaganda behind them to justify it in their own minds.

While the lie was sold to the world that the war was specifically designed to destroy Hamas, it never was, they sought to destroy the people of Gaza and their livelihoods. They didn’t invade in order to fight Palestinian resistance groups and that’s why there is virtually no footage documenting this, even the few examples of combat footage they filmed ended up making the Palestinian fighters they killed look like heroes from an action film.

Now that the ceasefire holds, the Zionist society appears baffled, believing that their regime’s murderous assault on Gaza was going to crush Hamas and return their captives by force. Instead, they witnessed Palestinian fighters and police officers quickly deploy throughout Gaza, with weapons, vehicles and military/security-force attire, seemingly un-scathed. Yet, to those who have been closely following the conflict, this made complete sense and it is also one of the reasons why the Zionist lleadership feared a ceasefire.

The Israelis employed a strategy of maximum cowardice in order to minimize their own combatant casualties at all costs. For instance, under the US/”Israel” doctrine of counter-insurgency, tanks would traditionally follow infantry units heading into an urban warfare zone, or at least there would be soldiers on the ground accompanying the tanks, yet this was not the case in Gaza. The soldiers hid inside their heavily armored tanks and vehicles, betting on the armor and Active Protection System (APS) to guard them.

Despite our inability to accurately estimate Zionist military casualties, it does appear that the difference between the deaths and injuries is a ratio that portrays far more injuries to deaths than in other similar urban warfare environments. This is because the Zionists hid in fortified areas or inside heavily armored vehicles most of the time. The reality is that even in the event that a tank is damaged, it doesn’t necessarily mean soldiers were killed in that attack and could have sustained injuries alone.

Most of the time, after arriving in new areas or buildings, a drone or robot would be sent in first to inspect the scene, prior to the soldiers that stormed the area. However, this didn’t always work and there would occasionally be ambushes after a failure to locate explosives, or tunnels. Most of the work the soldiers did required little real courage or combat capabilities. They were also careless throughout, as videos over the span of the 15 months war repeatedly showed soldiers casually standing in open windows, in one case an Israeli was filmed smoking out of a bong before he was hit with a thermobaric warhead.

Tel Aviv wasn’t looking to sacrifice its soldiers in the way that would have been required had they actually fought a war against Hamas, so they took the coward’s way out instead, and its population that believed in every lie they were sold are now shocked that the tactics employed proved ineffective at achieving the publicly stated goals of the war. With every known military advantage, destroying or damaging almost every single building in Gaza and slaughtering its people in such a manner that has constituted perhaps the worst atrocity since the Second World War, the Zionists couldn’t even come out of Gaza with the image of victory.

This speaks to the utter cowardice of the genocidal regime, contrasted by the stunning steadfastness of Gaza’s people as a whole. The Zionists didn’t fight a war against Hamas or any of the other Palestinian Resistance groups, note that they don’t even produce any statistics on the number of alleged fighters they have killed from any specific group other than Hamas; with the exception of occasionally adding mention of PIJ to the Hamas death toll figures. Palestinian Resistance groups fought, using the limited tools they had, against a Zionist military that was committing a genocide, that is what really happened.

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=14040

#alAqsaFlood #dflp #guierrlla #hamas #pflp #pij #resistance

Our people remain steadfast in their land, and their plans will fail.” The statement also called on the Arab and Islamic world to reject Trump’s statements.

DFLP statement

The Democratic Front released a statement as well:

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine denounced in a statement the calls of US President Trump to displace the residents of the Gaza Strip to Jordan and Egypt, under the pretext of preventing chaos in the Strip, where destruction is widespread.

The Democratic Front saw Trump’s call to displace the residents of the Strip to Egypt and Jordan as a malicious attempt to exploit the state of mass destruction that is sweeping the Strip, in addition to ignoring “Israels” responsibility for the destruction, and its moral and legal responsibility to bear responsibility for the reconstruction project.

The Democratic Front wondered: Why does Trump propose Jordan and Egypt as a place to displace the people of the Strip, and provide them with shelter for a short or long period, according to him, and ignore the fact that most of the residents of the Strip are refugees who are guaranteed the right to return to their homes from which they were displaced since 1948, and therefore they were supposed to return to their homes and not be subjected to additional displacement campaigns.

The Democratic Front said: Our people in the Gaza Strip are not flocks of sheep, who are being transferred from one place to another, without any consideration for their humanity, and their legitimate national rights, to remain in the Gaza Strip, for the people of the Gaza Strip, and to return to the 1948 lands for the refugees in the Gaza Strip. The Democratic Front warned that Trump’s statements and corrupt calls would constitute a pretext that the “Israeli” enemy would cling to to obstruct its withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, under the pretext of the “chaos” that Trump spoke about, and under the pretext of “Israels” alleged security interests. The Democratic Front also warned that Trump’s calls to displace the residents of the Gaza Strip to Jordan and Egypt would turn the issue of rebuilding the Gaza Strip into an “Arab-Arab” issue, which would absolve Israel of its responsibility for the destruction of the Gaza Strip, and at the same time absolve the United States of its responsibility in the same context, as it is a partner of Israel that provided it with the mass killing machine throughout 15 months of the genocidal war. In the same context, the Democratic Front condemned Trump’s decision to resume supplying “Israel” with 2,000-pound bombs, and saw it as a green light for the occupying state to continue its aggression against its Arab neighbors, especially brotherly Yemen, whose army and Ansar Allah were included on the terrorism list by Trump.

‘Clean out’ Gaza: Trump

Earlier today, Trump suggested a controversial plan to “just clean out” Gaza through the mass expulsion of its population to neighboring Egypt and Jordan, framing the proposal as a step toward “Middle East peace.”

Labeling Gaza a “demolition site” in the aftermath of the Zionist genocide, Trump revealed he had discussed the idea with Jordan’s King Abdullah II and planned further talks with Egypt’s leadership.

“I’d like Egypt to take people. And I’d like Jordan to take people,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.

He estimated that “probably a million and a half people” could be moved, adding, “We just clean out that whole thing. You know, over the centuries it’s had many, many conflicts, that site. And I don’t know, something has to happen.”

Trump suggested “the relocations” could be temporary or potentially permanent. “It’s literally a demolition site right now, almost everything is demolished and people are dying there,” he remarked.

Proposing collaboration with Arab nations, Trump said, “I’d rather get involved with some of the Arab nations and build housing at a different location where they can maybe live in peace for a change.”

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=14006

#alAqsaFlood #dflp #gaza #hamas #palestine #pij #rascism

He further said that the operation will continue for as long as needed, noting that the goal is to “secure the ‘Israeli’ Army’s freedom of operation throughout the West Bank, and destroy and neutralize terrorist infrastructure and time bombs.”

Invasion coordinated with treacherous PA

After 48 days of besieging Jenin, the treacherous Palestinian Authority (PA) withdrew first, effectively handing over the city and its camp to the zionist entity—a transition from one occupation to another.

During the siege, the PA admitted to killing three resistance fighters, arresting 247 individuals (41 of whom were wounded by gunfire), dismantling 17 car bombs, seizing three explosives manufacturing facilities, and confiscating weapons and supplies from 16 storage sites. These actions paved the way for what the occupation has described as a “large-scale military operation.”

In a scene representing the height of coordination with the enemy, PA security forces and vehicles withdrew from Jenin just as occupation vehicles entered, passing directly in front of the PA headquarters (as seen in media 3 and 4).

Instead of fulfilling their duty to protect their people, the PA watched the enemy shoot and murder civilians.

The occupation also prevented medical teams from reaching the wounded and is currently destroying the roads and infrastructure in front of Jenin Governmental Hospital.

Meanwhile, the treacherous PA raided the room of the martyr Khalil Al-Saidi, searching for those wounded by the occupation’s bullets, and assaulted the mothers of the martyrs.

The PA also confiscated the weapon of the wanted fighter and leader in the Jenin Brigade, Ahmed Abu Amireh, after his arrest from the town of Qabatiya in Jenin

Resistance confronts advancing occupation forces

A Zionist Army chopper opened machine gun fire toward Jenin Camp, while occupation forces bombed an empty vehicle in the camp’s surroundings just as a special force was infiltrating the area of Jabiriyyat.

The Resistance in the West Bank swiftly activated sirens in Jenin after a Zionist special force was discovered as its vehicle exited the Dotan checkpoint, and the Resistance waged a heavy confrontation against the force in Jenin’s al-Hadaf neighborhood.

Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin announced that its fighters confronted occupation forces advancing along several axes, showering them with a barrage of bullets along the al-Hadaf Axis. Similarly, Jenin’s al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced that its fighters are confronting Zionist forces with machine gun fire, securing direct hits against them.

A commander in Saraya Al-Quds in the West Bank released a statement about the conflict:

Since the beginning of the battle in Jenin, our heroes have continued to ambush enemy forces and military vehicles. What we will reveal at the end of the battle will prove that the image of victory the enemy failed to achieve in Gaza will not be captured in the West Bank either.

In recent days, we have succeeded in introducing some ground and guided explosive devices into service. The detonation of military jeeps in Qabatiya and Tubas was merely a message of what awaits enemy leaders and soldiers in the streets and alleys of the camps in the West Bank.

Our fighters have managed to establish operation rooms to coordinate fieldwork and develop joint efforts alongside fighters from Al-Qassam Brigades and the fighters of the Youth of Revenge and Liberation. The hotel operation in Qalqilya was a message to both the enemy and our allies that our hands can reach anywhere.

The Palestinian Authority’s security forces, in coordination with the enemy forces, continue to raid towns and besiege our injured fighters in villages, towns, medical centers, and hospitals, attempting to arrest them to ease the enemy army’s mission. However, this will only leave the Authority with a dark image in light of the sacrifices of our people.

We assure our people that our fighters are well, their morale is high, and the army that failed to achieve an image of victory against Gaza’s fighters will not find it in the West Bank. The cities of the West Bank and the alleys of the camps will bring nothing but coffins for the enemy’s leaders and soldiers.

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=13920

#hamas #invasion #jenin #palestine #pflp #pij #repression #resistance #westAsia #westBank

From the first tank entering Gaza, our fighters were in the field, emerging from tunnels and combat positions to repel the invaders using combat assets.”

He noted that resistance operations persisted until the final moments before the ceasefire, attributing their success to years of preparation and readiness. “The enemy anticipated our surrender with white flags but found only black banners and death in Gaza’s battlefields,” he said.

Abu Hamza stressed that the Zionist military failed to eliminate the resistance, recover its captives, or achieve any objectives beyond destruction and devastation. “One of the most prominent features of this battle was the legendary resilience of the great Palestinian people, who set an unparalleled example in struggle and steadfastness,” he stated.

‘People pillar of Palestine’

Addressing the Palestinian people, Abu Hamza said, “You are the pillars of this land and the cornerstone of every hope. Without your steadfastness, resistance would not exist, nor would we have achieved this success.”

He commended Gaza’s achievements despite the blockade and urged global powers to prioritize the Palestinian cause. He also celebrated the scenes of jubilation across Palestinian cities upon the release of the first batch of prisoners, affirming the resistance’s commitment to the ceasefire as long as the enemy abides by it. Abu Hamza revealed that in the coming days, the resistance would release a number of Zionist captives who meet the agreed-upon conditions.

Finally, Abu Hamza expressed gratitude to the mediators in Qatar and Egypt for their efforts in facilitating the prisoner exchange agreement. He extended greetings to the resilient Lebanese people and Hezbollah fighters who fought alongside the resistance, recalling the sacrifices of the late Hezbollah commander Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his comrades.

He also sent salutes to the people of Yemen and their leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, for their missile and drone strikes deep into Zionist territory. Additionally, he thanked Iran for its support in “humiliating the occupation” in operations like True Promise 1 and 2 and expressed gratitude to the Iraqi people and their resistance movements.

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=13917

#alAqsaFlood #gaza #palestine #pij

The group indicated that this has been a focus of their leadership since the start of the conflict.

Regarding the humanitarian aid protocol agreed upon under the supervision of mediators, Hamas noted that it ensures the implementation of relief, shelter, and reconstruction measures for the people of Gaza.

The Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, emphasized that the steadfastness of the Palestinian people was the decisive factor that forced the enemy to agree to a ceasefire and withdraw from Gaza.

In a televised speech, al-Nakhalah stated, “We will emerge from this battle more committed to our right to life and our homeland, and we will emerge with our weapons in our hands.” He stressed that the enemy would be compelled to retreat from the areas it entered in Gaza.

Al-Nakhalah also highlighted the importance of internal unity, saying, “We face a greater battle and more significant challenges than confronting the enemy—our internal front and ensuring unity.”

Reflecting on Operation al-Aqsa Flood, al-Nakhalah expressed gratitude to allies who supported the Palestinian cause. He praised Hezbollah in Lebanon for their sacrifices, including the martyrdom of leaders, and commended the steadfast leadership of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

He acknowledged Iran’s enduring support over the decades, which culminated in their role in the “True Promise,” and highlighted Yemen’s remarkable participation in the Operation al-Aqsa Flood, calling it a pivotal moment for the Palestinian people and the region. Al-Nakhalah also noted the contributions of resistance forces in Iraq.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem congratulated Gaza, its people and resistance over the ceasefire deal with the Zionist entity, hailing them over their epic steadfastness in face of the genocide.

In a televised speech addressing an international conference in support of Gaza entitled: “Gaza Icon of Resistance,” Sheikh Qassem stressed that the resistance in Lebanon is persistent stressing that any scheme to exclude Hezbollah from the political scene in Lebanon is doomed to fail.

He stressed that the Zionist violations to the ceasefire in Lebanon “can’t go on,” calling on the Zionist enemy “not to test our patience.”

Sheikh Qaasem stressed that Op. Al-Aqsa Flood restored momentum to the Palestinian cause. In this context, he pointed to major shift in the international stance towards Palestine, citing the mass protests across the world, especially the West in support of Gaza.

“The war on Gaza is a US-Israeli genocidal scheme aimed at wiping out Palestine of the map,” the Hezbollah S.G. said.

However, the Palestinian resistance has foiled this dangerous plan, his eminence stressed, in remarks carried by Al-Manar.

“The great sacrifices along with the legendary steadfastness prove that the great people of Palestine are worthful of regaining their land and they are capable of doing so. Steadfastness now is the foundation of the future.”

He stressed that the people in Gaza came out glorious and the resistance hasn’t laid down its arms, hailing Hamas, the Islamic Jihad and other Palestinian resistance groups over their epic steadfastness.

“Congratulations to the Palestinian people, to the people of Gaza and to the resistance fighters, for this agreement that has not changed from what was proposed in May 2024. This indicates the steadfastness of the resistance, and that it achieved its demands while the Israeli enemy was not able to impose its terms.”

Meanwhile, Sheikh Qassem pointed to the isolation which the Zionist entity have been witnessing in the latest months.

“’Israel’ is now an international pariah; its image is bleak. The condemnation of the International Criminal Court is enough to know the extent of this great impact that the resistance of the Palestinian people has had and how it has exposed this ‘Israeli’ entity. The ‘Israelis’ won’t embrace stability in occupied Palestine. Wait for the coming days and months to see the repercussions. As for the internal disputes within the Zionist entity, they will increase, God willing, and there is no solution except for Palestine to return to its people.”

The Hezbollah S.G. then hailed all those who stood by Gaza and Palestine, specifically naming the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by the Supreme Leader Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

“History will record, as the field did, those who supported Gaza with sacrifices and contributed to foiling the Israeli enemy’s project. The most prominent contributors are the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Imam Khamenei who has not missed an opportunity to emphasize standing with the Palestinian people to liberate it from the sea to the river, and has provided all kinds of military, moral, material and political support.”

Sheikh Qassem also praised the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran IRGC and its external branch Al-Quds along with the arm’s former head Hajj Qassem Suleimani who was “truly the martyr of Al-Quds.”

As for Lebanon, Sheikh Qassem stressed that the country has offered “its all” via Hezbollah, Amal Movement and the Lebanese people during the last Israeli war.

“Lebanon and Hezbollah offered the master of the nation’s martyrs Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah along with the Hashemite cleric Sayyed Hashem Safeiddine and many other leaders, commanders, fighters, martyrs and injured people.”

“The confrontations against Hezbollah in Lebanon contributed to the victory of Gaza. The resistance fighters stood as an impregnable barrier against the ‘Israeli’ advance on the front in legendary battles, and their honorable families protected, supported and backed them. Hezbollah and the resistance fighters have thwarted the Israeli goal of ending the resistance in Lebanon, which emerged proud and with its head held high.”

On the other hand, Sheikh Qassem stressed that Hezbollah won’t be excluded from the political scene in Lebanon.

“The resistance in Lebanon will remain resistant to the American-‘Israeli’ project. It is persistent, strong and ready to preserve the blood of the martyrs in a bid to liberate the land and to liberate Palestine.”

The new Hezbollah leader stressed that the resistance in Lebanon has been patient with the Zionist i violations to the ceasefire deal in order to give a chance to the Lebanese state – which is responsible for this agreement – along with the international sponsors to deal with this issue.

“However, I call on you not to test our patience,” Sheikh Qassem warned.

He also urged the Lebanese State “to be firm in confronting the violations that have exceeded hundreds.”

“The (ceasefire) agreement is exclusively in the south of the Litani River. Lebanon came out with its head held high, and weapons remained in the hands of the resistance fighters.”

“Resolution 1701 is a general framework, but plans to benefit from the resistance and its weapons are to be discussed within the defensive strategy and through national dialogue which is aimed at preserving Lebanon’s strength, sovereignty and independence. No one will be able to exploit the results of the aggression in domestic politics, as the political path is separate from the situation of the resistance.”

Sheikh Qassem also affirmed that the contribution of Hezbollah and Amal Movement led to the election of President Joseph Aoun.

“No one can exclude us from the effective and influential political participation in the country, as we are a fundamental component in the makeup of Lebanon and its renaissance. Some of the frivolities that attempted to highlight the alleged exclusion of Hezbollah from the scene are just bubbles that will pop later, God willing.”

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) targeted the flagship of the United States Navy Carrier Strike Group 8, the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, and other units, on Saturday.

Positioned in the northern Red Sea, the aircraft carrier has come under numerous attacks launched by the YAF. The Yemeni military has engaged multiple US aircraft carriers and vessels in the Red Sea after Washington deployed the warships in regional waters to disrupt the YAF’s support to Palestine.

The spokesperson for the YAF Brigadier General Yahya Saree said that the latest attack was jointly conducted by the YAF’s Rocket Force and Unmanned Air Force. He revealed that multiple one-way attack drones and cruise missiles were launched toward the strike group, marking the eighth attack targeting Carrier Strike Group 8.

Saree underlined that the operation came in response to the most recent massacres committed by the Israeli regime against Palestinians in Gaza and in response to American-British-launched assaults on Yemen.

He also warned hostile forces in the Red Sea against launching an aggression on Yemen during the ceasefire period in Gaza. Saree stressed that any aggression on Yemen will be responded to by top-tier military operations restricted by “no ceiling or red lines.”

It is worth noting the YAF has launched a large-scale military campaign in support of the Palestinian people, focused on cutting off sea routes to the Zionist regime, as well as targeting military assets in occupied territories.

As of 8:30 AM (local time) on Sunday, a mediated ceasefire will take effect, ending a 15-month-long genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=13819

#alAqsaFlood #ansarallah #hamas #hezbollah #lebanon #palestine #pij #westAsia #yemen
