Hace año y medio estaba ESlemmy, pero desapareció sin más.

Fedi #GNU #Linux community: Do any of you know how to get a Mandinka language keyboard option on Android, ideally to be used in Signal?
The site anythingtranslate.com is so far the only site I've found that can do English to Mandinka translation.
I want to help a friend in the Gambia set up his phone such that he can switch the keyboard from English to Mandinka (the symbols in Mandinka are not in the same alphabet).
Does native Mastodon (preferably the PWA) have a way to remember the most recent post I've seen and jump to that post when I open the page/app? I think I'd like to switch to using the PWA, but I'm currently using Tusky on Android for specifically that feature.
(Yes, I follow few enough accounts and tags for this to be very viable.)
Hey fedi, especially German speaking fedi, I’m looking for good media to immerse myself in as I begin learning German! I’m at the very start of things so I’m not in any huge rush but I intend on keeping up regularly on training myself in the language.
So, what are your favorite German books? Music? TV shows? Movies? They can be of any “level”, as I will be working my way through things as I learn more of the language. This is only one part of what I’m planning on using for learning, so again feel free to recommend your favorite media

#askfedi So we're going out later today to pick up a used #steamdeck through a marketplace website. Anything we should look out for in terms of damage?
I work in the advertising tech industry. Some of our clients advertise alcohol and cannabis products. I want to ask my company to add a watermark to such products which can redirect users to substance abuse resources. What are some good resources I can direct people to for (a) Cannabis and (b) Alcohol
Hey #fediverse ! What do you think?

Food, request for recipes
I ave staggered my plantings in my hydroponic gardens but in the next few weeks I am going to have an ambitious amount of lettuces and leafy greens ready for harvest.
...and I don't usually do well with raw foods. Oh no.
Current plan: add them before serving to soups and mix them into hot grain salads (which I love).
If you have a dish or recipe you love that includes not-raw lettuce, I would love your suggestions! 1/n
I’m aware that it's pretty early in the technology cycle to ask this…
I’m looking for recommendations on #Bluetooth LE Audio, #Auracast capable transmitters that can get their audio input via XLR, ¼″/6.3mm or 3.5mm audio jack.
My (special) requirement would be to have < 10ms of latency, ro live performances. The lower latency the better!
15m range should be OK, for a roughly 100m² room.
Any hints on products available in the EU are welcome!

I'm looking for PC games that involve a lot of exploration and discovery.
Hollow Knight is awesome, but too difficult for me (also, with cheats I have already completed it)
Slime Rancher was fun, but the whole "One person has been everywhere already and left you messages" was meh.
Outer Wilds might have been what I'm looking for, except I saw a bunch of it played so a lot of the discoveries are spoiled for me.
Does anything come to mind?
Hey Fedi
Requirements:
* Client side encryption (ideally zero knowledge)
* Able to specify any number of folders to back up, ideally each with their own scheduling and ignore lists
* File history and deleted file recovery
* User controlled but company managed
* Device sync not necessary
Question to gamedevs: Do you play your own games for fun or only in the context of development?
Whenever I play my own games, I only see the flaws or compare them to better products.
Though I always wanted to also play my own games for fun, not just when I add a new feature, improvement or fix a bug.
How about you?
@shortround tagging #AskScience #AskFedi for reach on above question on guidance for children and tech.
I'm looking to make a few minor changes to Mastodon using custom CSS, but I'm not sure how to target e.g. bgcolor for the light mode without impacting the dark mode. Anyone got any pointers? I can't find anything useful online.
Is there some fedi account I can follow which will tell me when there is space stuff I should go outside and look up at?
I hate missing stuff like auroras :/
It would have to be something where one can follow an account specific for the area one lives in, Denmark in my case.
