We've all seen the issues with using #Bing aerial imagery being sometimes unusable in #JOSM. 
The OSMF's EWG has been in touch with #Microsoft 2 weeks ago, and are waiting for a response.

Two weeks ago we asked if ok for all OSM editors to uses the key used by iD, as that account has a a different limit, and should be good until 2028. They have not yet responded. I just pinged on the thread now to see if we can make that move.
