All Seasons in One Day

"Sound" teableau for 13Mar25

A nod to some of the things on or in Puget Sound: Lighthouses. Giant Pacific Octopus. Sailboat. People who paint Giant Pacific Octopuses on spoons.

Tea tableau in white with red and blue with a lighthouse motif in fabric, china, and figurines. I went for a walk today and this is my favorite picture.

There were lots of other birds along the way, including great blue herons, egrets, spotted towhee, juncos, chickadees, robins, red-tailed hawk, hummingbirds, ducks, and bald eagles. Oh, and one bunny. Just to represent mammals.

A brown and buff song sparrow perched on a delightfully craggy and swirled stump eyes the camera. Water can be seen to the lower left and winter brown marsh grasses stretch behind to a line of leafless trees.
