I just have to give a big shout-out to Mannheim-based Anna Fronek who just makes the BEST vegan cake recipes! She's a geniuuuus 😭 (recipes are only available in German, but I'll gladly translate for you if you want!) - check her recipes out annafronek.de

This week's Sunday bake - a veganized version of @MarissaLingen 's Brun Brod (Norwegian Spice) cookies - turned out to be DELICIOUS. The whole family loves them, and I will definitely be making them again!

(I used sunflower margarine instead of oleo and vegan egg replacer instead of an egg, and the texture and flavor are both still AMAZING.)

I broke my vegan macaron curse by using potato protein as the base for the meringue instead of aquafaba and I was very impressed. Like really impressed the macarons were slot more fuller which was very nice to see. This is my most recent purchase and I HIGHLY recommend it. Been recipe testing today. Make a small 5 inch vegan humming bird cake that I can make for weddings and birthday cakes as I have a couple to make in the next few months and really want to make sure the cakes taste nice and hold up. This was a success. The taste was there and the icing held firm the ganache is a water ganache drip. #vegan #veganbaking #cake

So this just a test cake that I am not decorating but I have been playing around with a vegan sponge cake recipe for the last 8 months that can be used in celebration cakes, staked and even carved into simple designs and I have final got it 🥰 over the course of 8 months of testing I have got 8 flavours of cake so far #baking #vegan #veganbaking

@ConorMahood You can substitute 1T flax seed + 3T hot water for 1 egg in any baking recipe.

And to follow up on your (excellent) “read your writing aloud” advice, I will call and raise, with, “read your writing aloud in a foreign accent.” It works wonders.
