How sad it is that a lot of press websites are built with #WordPress and yet they refuse to federate their blog with the #fedi using the #ActivityPub plugin.

Hello #fedi folks, is there any major #fediverse software (i.e. @Mastodon, Misskey, Pleroma, @pixelfed, ...) that allows me to set filters (e.g. a regex) for posts sent from my _own_ account?
This may sound completely nonsensical at first glance, but there is actually a sensible use case for that 
(Yes, I know I could just write that myself, but I'd rather avoid reinventing the wheel. I have enough yaks to shave as it is.

This means all of our TROM.tf services (friendica, peertube, nextcloud, etc.), all of our websites like tromsite.com, videoneat.com, tromjaro.com, and so on.
We only need 230 Euros to cover another year of backups. Please if you can help out since we are underfunded and cannot afford to pay for them.

Excellent point. The Fedi needs money. Big time donors need to step up and create a foundation to strengthen public social media.
Users need to be regularly reminded that giving to the Fedi is an investment in democracy.
So much needs to happen to fortify public social media.
Instead, Bluesky is attracting their attention with its nonsense claims of maybe sorta distributed someday.
We are missing the opportunity.

PSA about how you can help marginalised folks on fedi, politics
tldr: Intentionally mis-spelling words (including names) that involve politics actively harms the most vulnerable in our society. You can help by simply including and properly spelling important words and names. Bonus points for using CWs

Let's establish a few things 
・We're on fedi (including Mastodon), so there is no shady algorithm hiding your posts from people because you said a word it didn't like.
・Vulnerable minorities have limited spoons on account of *gestures broadly at the world*.
・Vulnerable minorities use word filters on fedi to make it so we don't have to see "you're currently being genocided, have fun~ 
" 30 times a day.
・Mis-spelling words (especially the names of famous figures) or omitting them altogether allows your post to sneak past those filters.
With that all laid out, you can see why mis-spelling or omitting important words related to your post can actively aid fascists in their oppression of minorities by robbing us of what precious few spoons we have. Making sure to include relevant words and spell them correctly is an easy way to actively resist the fascists and help marginalised people in your every day life
