The City of Mississauga has begun to remove all American flags from sports arenas and scenic locations along Lake Ontario.
They will be replaced with oversized Canadian 🇨🇦 flags, including all flag poles at City Hall.

Took the fancy camera down to the lake and was well rewarded with these new-to-me fancy ducks, horsing around in the water and making odd calls.

Now, I may just be a beginner birder, but I suspect that these ducks with the long tails are long-tailed ducks (_Clangula hyemalis_).

Two small groups of ducks on the near side of the breakwater in Lake Ontario, Marilyn Bell Park. The nearer group of ducks are black and white with long thin curved tail feathers. The further group of ducks might be goldeneye?

#Birdeing in Trinity-Bellwoods. An acrobatic American robin (_Turdus migratorius_) in the sumac, a black-capped chickadee (_Poecile atricapillus_), and one of the _Dryobates_ woodpeckers (I can't tell the difference).

I also saw a goldfinch, a house finch, and European starlings (which also feed on the sumac with the robins and chickadees).

I saw a Cybertruck in #Toronto recently. With all the issues, how is it still considered road worthy? I understand that regulatory bodies in the US have collapsed but how is it in Canada, this waiting to kill someone POS is still allowed on the road?

Is there no bit of bureaucracy that can take it off the road before someone dies?
