Nur drei Stunden schulplanmäßiger Besuch in der Gedenkstätte Sachsenhausen gestern haben ihn heute Nacht mit voller Wucht eingeholt.
Erstmal Familienknuddeln und Gespräche am unbenutzten Frühstückstisch...

Mrs was out with MDMRNia until almost 10 pm last night as they went to see Wicked on Broadway and didn't get into town until then.

So, me and MDMRN Twin 1 ended up watching Sailor Moon R: The Movie last night.

Found out yesterday that my kid is texting on the reg with some random "kid" (supposedly) that she doesn't know in real life.

If this person is who he says he is, it's mostly harmless. He doesn't even live in the area. So I don't want to come down too hard and risk that it drives her into further underground/hidden comms.

But if he's NOT, I'm worried about sextortion or some other scam. If other parents have advice, I'm listening.

Just re-upped some previous Otaku Elf pics I posted. Including an attempt at recreating a cover in Animal Crossing.

It's a fun, chill series.

When I first got into it, I told my kids the name and they first thought I said "Taco Elf" and, honestly, I'd read that series if it were real.

I'm running a bit behind as I had to drop my wife and MDMRNia (13) at the school early. They are going to see a Broadway show with the middle school drama club. So, that'll be fun. Now I'm doing a little work at home until I have to run my youngest two to elementary school.

NINE YEAR OLD: Yes, it stands for computer and cat.

So MDMRN Twin 2 was watching me play Animal Crossing this evening and specifically asked me to recreate a scene from a specific music video for "Music Monday." I told her it would require me making custom outfits for my villagers. She said, "And?"

So, I did it.
