A few months ago, I made this bag as a X-mas present for a family member.

The lush green cotton velvet is reclaimed from a dumpster dived throw pillow case. For the lining, I used black cotton I had lying around.

I added a thrifted necklace from wooden beads and a cute little heart charm.

Just a few little things to go to the textile recycling bin. That's not a lawn mower in there, it's stuffed full of clothes and a few shoes.

These ones are still wearable. I sorted out the rodent chewed ones and a few that we want to wash and try on ourselves.

Kept a lot of nice blankets. Blankets are always good.

The local recycling company suggests these may actually be re-used? Unlikely if you look into what a sham most recycling is, but there's hope.

More free wood chip. The primary school down the road were having all their hawthorn trees chopped back. I asked the tree surgeons if they could drop it off on the driveway and they were only too happy to do so.

It will be ferried up to the allotments for mulching the pathways on plots. #Gardening #NoDig #Recycling
